**The Position**

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Campus Services, the OneCard Coordinator is responsible for the daily management, administration, and operation of the Redeemer OneCard, the management system of the OneCard, and all of its associated services.

The position is also responsible for the reconciliation of funds in excess of $1 million annually.

The OneCard is used as an identification card, debit card for campus cash, dining dollars and grocery dollars, meal plan card, laundry and vending. The OneCard is also used as an access card for the athletic centre, library, parking and door access. This position ensures the issuance of all Redeemer OneCards to students, staff, faculty, alumni, as well as affiliate cards for anyone requiring Athletic Centre access, along with situations that require the OneCard to be used as a meal card or for door access for external groups and guests on Campus.

The OneCard Coordinator also supports the administrative functions in the Campus Services Department.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintains the student meal plan program in the OneCard system and ensures accuracy of information and maintains the client database in one card management system
- Responsible for the acquisition of photo submissions and their smooth transition into the card management system.
- Performs the administrative duties related to the issuance of all OneCards to students, staff, faculty, alumni and affiliates.
- The OneCard Coordinator also performs the administrative duties related to issuing cards to all rental groups and overnight guests that may take advantage of our One Card system
- Coordinates and supervises the daily operation of the OneCard and maintains a high level of customer service and ensures consistency and resolves day to day issues that may arise. The OneCard - Coordinator also works with university departments and service partners to ensure a quality process and OneCard system.
- Works with the Director and Assistant Director of Campus Services to develop and implement strategies and and goals for the maintenance and expansion of the OneCard system consistent with the University’s mission. This includes short and long term plans, assessing and providing feedback with regard to current programs, services and resources, and reporting on the extent to which objectives have been achieved.
- Prepares monthly reports and reconciliations of all OneCard transactions for the Finance department.
- Responsible for the intake and daily reconciliation of the OneCard, Food Services, laundry, vending, meal plan and copy centre transactions in excess of $ 1 million annually.
- The OneCard Coordinator also maintains a financial record of revenues for use in projecting future budgets. The OneCard Coordinator communicates with the Accounting Department to ensure that all deposits, refunds and site sales balance with the finance system.
- Works with other departments, including athletics, security and residence life to ensure the success of their programs such as, parking, door access, athletic facility access, etc., by providing OneCard compatibility with these services.
- Corresponds with the IT department & technology provider regarding all technological issues associated with the OneCard system equipment and well-informed of system updates.
- Maintains door access, programs door terminals and door open hours.
- Is cross trained in and able to assist with the front desk operations, as well as the box office, presto/HSR, conference services, meeting room bookings, guest accommodations and deposits.
- Prepares statistical reports for the OneCard and Meal Plan.

**Preferred Skills and Attributes**
- University - Bachelors Degree. Minimum 5 years’ experience in an office setting.
- Knowledge of student information systems and experience with campus card systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of job related technology and equipment.
- Superior customer service skills
- Superior organizational and problem solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects.
- Demonstrated history of taking initiative and meeting deadlines.
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Knowledge of budgeting and cost control procedures.
- Creative ability to develop new sources of ancillary revenue (OneCard & Vendors)
- Ability to work collegially at all levels, exercising tact and diplomacy, at times in stressful situations.
- Flexible working hours, including some evening and weekend work.

**Education, Training & Certifications**
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree.

**Other Requirements**
