Collaborating with our client on-site teams and Aramark corporate marketing, you will be a champion, guardian, advocate, and ambassador to bring our culinary campus food brands to life

You will use your dynamic savvy to develop promotional materials, enhance our brand, inform, and engage our customers about the innovative and quality products that Aramark dining services at Lakehead University campus has to offer. As an integral member of our team, you will execute initiatives across different platforms and manage a number of diverse projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support food sales growth, market penetration, customer retention and greater market share
- Create strategic, creative graphic design work to support projects for print, web, and multimedia
- Design execution of marketing campaigns months prior to implementation
- Corporate initiatives - Voice of the Consumer, promotions (Coke, Frito Lay) and local events
- Frequently prepare and manage sampling and information tabling events at all 4 campuses
- Participate in college campus events and initiatives such as Open Houses, catering events, etc.
- Propose creative retail deals and promotions, audit locations for consistent pricing and signage
- Drive staff and student Meal Plan sales; maintain Digital Menu Screens and Monitors
- Assist the food service team on their roles and responsibilities related to marketing projects
- Execute social media postings - images, content, engagement; post-analysis; manage calendar
- Create and maintain meeting and event calendars; maintain promotional and print inventories
- Guide volunteers and student ambassadors for special events, and initiatives
- Other related duties as required per business needs and client requirements

**Qualifications**:

- Post
- Secondary Diploma or Degree or active studies in Marketing and/or Digital Marketing is required
- 2-3 years marketing experience required; preferably some in Food & Beverage/Hospitality
- A passion for food and work experience in Food & Beverage or Hospitality is a definite asset
- Ability to immerse yourself and become part of the university community is essential to the role
- Demonstrated strong graphic design ability; Advanced Adobe Suite; FB, Instagram, Twitter
- Superior communication to interface with clients, customers, employees, and management
- Well-developed organization, time management and multi-tasking skills are necessary
- Exceptional and consistent customer service is essential to this role
