**Description**:
**Key Activities and Responsibilities**
- Provide day to day support for the Pipeline Schedulers, including after-hours
- Resolve supply and demand issues in order to meet targeted customer service levels, including negotiating desired changes to delivery schedules as required with appropriate pipelines, producers and marketing schedulers.
- Actively participate in various industry associations and meetings
- Establish and grow strong working relationships with IPL Control Center, Commercial, Marketing, Engineering and Operations groups.
- Mentor and coach members of the Oil Movements team by setting a positive tone for communication and collaboration within the department and with other departments.
- Ensure team is trained and have demonstrated competency to complete all assigned work and that appropriate tools are in place for staff to efficiently complete their responsibilities.
- Implement effective annual goals & objectives for the Schedulers
- Conduct annual performance evaluations and compensation recommendations
- Ad-hoc assignments and tasks as required

**Education, Skills and Experience**:

- University degree or diploma, Business-related preferred
- 8+ years of industry experience with past leadership experience preferred
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Proven experience problem solving complicated situations requiring collaboration and negation skills
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills
- Knowledge of crude logistics/scheduling processes and deadlines
- Extensive knowledge of Canadian pipelines and terminals
- Strong understanding of industry rules & regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and industry contacts
- Strong leader with excellent collaboration and negotiation skills

**Schedule**
Monday-Friday full-time, interim position for a 12 month term

On-call after hours and weekend assistance
