**Overview**:
Pembina’s Technical Services Unit (TSU) is currently seeking a Supervisor, Corrosion Control. On behalf of Pembina’s Business Units, TSU manages a comprehensive integrity management program, which includes Facility Integrity, Pipeline Integrity, Geotechnical, Corrosion Control, Asset Management, Product Quality and Measurement, Geographical Information System, Integrity Project Execution, and Automation Services. TSU provides leading technical expertise that optimizes performance and minimizes operational and project risk.

As a key contributing member of the team, the Corrosion Control Supervisor is responsible for managing the overall External and Internal corrosion preventative measures programs, including full scope cathodic protection program of Pembina’s pipeline systems.

**Responsibilities may include but not limited to**:

- Oversee and support the budgeting, planning and execution of the Corrosion Control Program to guarantee compliance and alignment with TSUs objectives, values and long-term strategies;
- Ensure appropriate resources and development of the corrosion control team;
- Support updates, integration and maintenance of relevant Corrosion Control Specifications and Standards;
- Seek continuous improvement opportunities to progress and mature the program;
- Support and participate in the corrosion control requirements of all stakeholders;
- Support all BU’s in maintaining safety and compliance with applicable pipeline integrity regulations and codes;
- Monitor and communicate regulatory changes with regards to corrosion control;
- Support audits and incident investigations along with tracking and addressing audit findings;
- Ensure integrity monitoring and mitigation programs specific to cathodic protection are compliant with Pembina’s corporate IMP, regulatory requirements, and industry standards;
- Ensure annual risk assessment results drive corrosion control programs and ensure year-on-year risk reduction in areas related to corrosion control;
- Support the planning, coordination, oversight, and participation in all activities associated with Pembina’s cathodic protection, chemical inhibition, and internal corrosion pigging programs;
- Ensure completeness and quality of cathodic protection data collection and analysis, including annual surveys, commissioning surveys, monthly and bi-monthly surveillance, close-interval surveys, troubleshooting, deficiency tracking & mitigation;
- Support the technical evaluation of high-voltage AC and DC interference projects;
- Establish and ensure close working relationship between the corrosion control team and the district Pipeline Integrity Specialists, Facility Integrity staff, Operations staff, and various integrity vendors and consultants;
- Support third party crossing requests to determine impact on corrosion control programs;
- Maintain up-to-date program and activity records and metrics;
- Support projects across the company on corrosion control scope;
- Contribute to pipeline Engineering Assessments of external corrosion and internal corrosion integrity threats;
- Model and promote learning agility by adapting quickly to change, encouraging experimentation, and continuously integrating new insights into team strategies and practices; and
- Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.

**Qualifications**:

- Professional engineering degree or relevant technologist education;
- Minimum NACE Level 3 Cathodic Protection certification;
- NACE Internal Corrosion certification;
- Minimum 10 years relevant work
