**Store Maintenance Coordinator**
**Job summary**:
Reporting into the Team Leader, Store Maintenance, the Store Maintenance Coordinator’s responsibilities require that he/she takes on the challenges of maintaining and improving upon Groupe Dynamite Inc. stores located throughout Canada and USA. They will be required to participate and coordinate the day-to-day activities in order to ensure efficiency and curb any impacts to Groupe Dynamite Inc. operations while maximizing cost efficiencies and synergies.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Assist stores employees in the handling of any maintenance requests and emergencies regarding HVAC, electrical plumbing, architectural repairs, plumbing, locks, furniture and sound systems;
- Coordinate with the landlord and operation managers the work that must be done when required;
- Process incoming requests promptly and accordingly and ensure that activities are consistently and concisely documented;
- Coordinate logistics around purchases, prepare purchase orders, reconcile relevant billing and carry out follow-ups;
- Assist internal departments with various projects and initiatives in the stores;
- Support the findings and remedy requirements established by the Health and Safety committee as needed;
- Coordinate with other supervisors, managers and employees at all levels to ensure commonality of purpose and direction;
- Monitor and analyze each case, work order and technician feedback in order to mitigate the issue at the store level all the while ensuring reasonable costs;
- Coordinate and assist external resources for an effective resolution time;
- Assist the store staff to troubleshoot issues/requests before deploying the vendor;
- Analyze the problem before taking actions in order to select the appropriate action and accurate vendor;
- Track and follow up with work in progress until completion;
- Issue purchase orders, receive and process invoices or work orders;
- Be available to deal with emergency calls outside regular office hours (in rotation with other coordinators);
- Other related duties as needed.
**To qualify for this role, you must have...**
- High school diploma + professional training in Architecture, Mechanical or Building Administration an asset;
- At least two years, less than five years;
- Some technical background or related experience would be an asset;
- Good knowledge of purchasing methods and organizational skills;
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Word ;
- Strong abilities in coordinating resources and day-to-day activities;
- Superior organizational and analytical skills with the ability to work independently;
- Ability to recognize improvement areas, offer suggestions and resolve problems;
- Capable of handling multiple priorities.
