The team behind MIMI Chinese is proud to be opening their sister restaurant, Sunny’s Chinese located in Kensington Market

Sunny’s is inspired by high energy dining cultures found throughout China. From Shaokao spots in Chengdu and Xi’an to Dai Pai Dongs in Hong Kong. We look to regional traditions to create an experience that’s casual and playful

We are looking for inspired, energetic individuals, who are passionate about the industry, dedicated to providing exceptional guest experience, and strive to deliver lasting memories that pay tribute to the deeply rooted history of Chinese food and beverage culture.  

What you will find at Sunny’s Chinese is the excitement behind a new launch, the vibrant and diverse atmosphere of Kensington Market, and an energetic, passionate team that works together to create an innovative atmosphere that redefines the true meaning of hospitality and traditional cuisine.

**What You'll Do **
- Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties 
- Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible 
- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc. 
- Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc. 
- Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees etc. 
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies 
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) 
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff and executive sous chef 
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion 
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards 

**What You'll Need **
- Previous work experience as a prep or line cook 
- Positive attitude and great communication skills 
- Food Handler Certificate 
- Authorization to work in Canada 
- An interest in learning about regional Chinese food and beverage
