**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist in planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to established guidelines.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery, including tractors and irrigation systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal functionality.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various farming tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Implement irrigation techniques to ensure proper water distribution across crops.
- Feed various animals on the farm
- Participate in the upkeep of farm facilities and grounds, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required for planting, harvesting, or transporting materials.
- Live on the farm as housing is provided.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in horticulture or agriculture is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems related to farm equipment is advantageous.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
- A strong understanding of irrigation practices will be beneficial.

Pay: $17.20-$28.53 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Port Perry, ON: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
