We have developed a ground-breaking medical device for the diagnosis and treatment of the most common heart rhythm disorder, atrial fibrillation - which can cause stroke, heart failure, and other heart-related complications.
Kardium’s mission is to deliver the best treatment for atrial fibrillation. To achieve this, we have developed The Globe® Pulsed Field System - we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
We have now completed our pivotal clinical study and our focus is on regulatory approvals and commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.
As a member of the Talent Team, you will get hands-on experience in various aspects of the Human Resources field.
Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.
Meaningful work you will be a part of
You will engage in activities that develop practical and transferable skills such as:

- Provide HR operational support and coordination including reporting, engagement, recruitment, employee performance, etc.
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment, coordinating phone, video, and on-site interviews
- Assist/coordinate with administrative support for career fairs and recruitment events
- Support systems and programs such as the ATS and benefits program
- Support new employee onboarding, orientation, as well as the offboarding process
- Assist with Administration support on the Talent Team
- Provide assistance with Talent initiatives and projects as required

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:

- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Human Resources and availability for a September Co-op term is required
- Previous scheduling, administrative, or related experience is preferred
- Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a cross-functional team and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and management
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a high paced, fast changing environment
- Results-oriented
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive and problem-solving approach
- Strong oral and written communication skills along with attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Office
