**PDI Quality Assurance Representative - Low-Rise & High
- Rise Divisions**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Pre Drywall Quality Assurance Inspections**:

- Conduct comprehensive quality control inspections of residential units at various stages of construction to ensure compliance with established standards, codes, and regulations.
- Identify and document construction defects, non-conformities, and deviations from plans and specifications.
- Collaborate and work directly with supervisors to address and rectify identified issues promptly.

**Finished unit Quality Assurance Inspection Duties**
- Complete Quality Assurance Inspections to ensure units are ready for PDI.
- Ensure accuracy of installation of finishes and execution of all upgrades.
- Update direct supervisor of pertinent site issues/conditions.
- Collaborate and work directly with the supervisors and trades to ensure QA items are completed and signed off in a timely manner.

**Pre Delivery Inspection Duties**
- Present thorough knowledge of all the printed material in the PDI folder.
- Accurately communicate Tarion’s Warranty Processes and Ontario Building Code
- Perform pre-delivery home orientations with new homeowners to explain the different functions and features within the home (including the electrical and mechanical systems such as the ventilation, plumbing and heating).
- Provide accurate and detailed knowledge of the occupancy process.
- Guide purchasers through a comprehensive low/mid rise inspection prior to the closing of their home within the Halton/Hamilton/Brant Region through to Niagara Region.
- Note any items that are damaged, incomplete, missing or not operating properly based on the homeowner’s findings.
- Ensure deficiency list is within the TARION Construction Guidelines
- Monitor and work directly with the supervisors and trades to ensure PDI items are completed and signed off in a timely manner.
- Ensure company policies are adhered to and discuss any new ones that may be required with your direct supervisor.

**Communication and Collaboration**:

- Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including development, construction, design and customer service departments.
- Effectively communicate inspection findings, quality concerns, and improvement recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control inspections and/or pre-delivery inspections within the residential construction industry.
- Thorough understanding of residential construction standards, building codes, and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document defects accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey findings and recommendations.
- Proficiency in using inspection software, MS Office suite, and digital tools for report generation and documentation.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various active sites across Halton/Hamilton/Brant Region through to Niagara Region.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple inspections simultaneously.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:
