Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
The individual will be responsible for developing, communicating and implementing a daily stewardship focus coordinating activities with unit teams, ensuring compliance with work processes and procedures, validating and communicating results from RCA's, and provide timely and meaningful feedback to team members.

Qualifications:

- Holder of a current Alberta Journeyman Millwrights' Certificate or a Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma is a requirement along with several years’ experience in an industrial environment (petrochemical)
- Excellent verbal, listening and written skills, and basic computer skills
- Microsoft Office Excel and Word
- Experience with Maintenance methods and practices
- Turnaround Execution as related to multidiscipline work
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Ability to prioritize steps to complete complex work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Maintenance KPI's around safety, shutdown maintenance performance and regular maintenance performance
- Strong team leadership and meeting facilitation skills
- Ability to identify potential risks of safety, cost or duration of turnarounds
- Capability to develop and implement training
- Knowledge and experience related to the mechanical trades of a manufacturing facility
- Experience with SAP software as related to maintenance in a manufacturing facility
- Supervisory experience
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
