Associate Financial Advisor

**OVERVIEW**

Whitehead Beckett Financial Services Inc. specializes in financial planning, wealth management, and insurance solutions for families, individuals, and businesses. The Associate Financial Advisor role is responsible for proactively meeting and servicing an existing segment of clients as well as actively prospecting and selling to new ideal clients. An Associate Financial Advisor will be required to work both independently and as part of the team.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage an existing block of clients, provide regular reviews and touch points, create and adjust financial plans, and maintain existing insurance and wealth portfolios.
- Pursue new sales opportunities to existing and new ideal clients.
- Prepare required information and reports for client meetings.
- Complete required administrative work.
- Tracking client matters and interactions in Salesforce CRM.
- Coordinate ongoing marketing strategies and initiatives, create lists and reports.
- Maintain a high-level standard of knowledge and training.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner that accurately reflects our brand and values.
- All other duties as assigned.

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**
- Post-Secondary education.
- Experience in the financial services and/or insurance industry.
- Mutual Fund License
- Life Insurance License, or willingness to acquire within 12 months of hire.
- Competency with financial planning software and concepts. A willingness to pursue a financial designation (CFP) is an asset.
- Training provided.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to details, time management, and organization.
- Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to handle confidential information in an ethical manner.
- Able to multi-task and be a problem solver.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Hanover & Owen Sound Office locations.
- Professional office environment, appropriate business casual dress code.
- Regular business hours. Evening appointments as required.
- In person and virtual meetings.
