Cornwall, Canada Medical Arts Pharmacy Full time

If you are looking for a dynamic, exciting and ever varied HR position, then look no further. Medical Arts Pharmacy, an established and well-respected Cornwall pharmacy, with two locations and 50+ employees, is looking for an experienced HR Generalist to fill their one-person managed role. Your duties include, but are not limited to:

- Manage the employee life cycle from entry to exit, including recruiting, interviewing, job offer, onboarding, reviews, coaching, etc.
- Administer HRIS, including attendance, payroll, personnel records
- Work closely with the Owners and Payroll
- Manage the Benefit & RSP packages
- Maintain the Employee Handbook and create new policies as needed
- Act as a resource to management and employees in the areas of policies and procedures, payroll, benefits and employee relations
- Contribute as an active representative to OJHSC
- Keep up to date on all employment legislation and ensure ongoing compliance through personal self-development and continuous learning via Surge Learning
- Work with various outside 3rd party providers (legal, premises, nursing homes, EOHU, WSIB, MOL, EI, Stats Canada, etc.)
- Regularly travel between two Cornwall sites
- Ad hoc HR projects and some administrative/office functions
- Investigate any issues that may arise and keep Management informed
- Conduct all activities and interactions in a respectful and professional manner that is consistent with the Company’s policies, mission statement, philosophy and ethical standards

Skill requirements:

- High level of integrity, dependability, diplomacy and confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office Suite, Social Media, etc.)
- Demonstrated knowledge of labour laws
- Possess good organizational and strong interpersonal skills (leadership, staff management and teambuilding)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
