EXP has an immediate opening for a **Contract Administrator **to be based out of our Brampton, ON office. You will be responsible for administering a Ministry of Transportation contract under the guidance of a Project Manager.
**Your Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact between the client and the contractor.
- Prepare various reports, change orders and instruction notices.
- Monitor contractor compliance with quality and quantity control measures and contractual obligations/review contractor submissions.
- Negotiate contract and pricing issues and construction claims.
**The Skills, Knowledge and Abilities We Seek
- Should be eligible to take MTO T131 Advanced Claims Dispute Resolution Course.
- Project experience as a Contract Administrator on 2 or more MTO or municipal projects dealing with highway and/or infrastructure with at least one having had a budget of at least $5M.
- Certified with OACETT as a Road Construction Contract Administrator (rcca) or P.Eng. designation with PEO.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of Ontario Provincial Standard Specifications/Standard Drawings methods and materials associated with highway construction.
- Possess a valid class “G” driver’s license.
