**Join Our Dynamic HR Team as a Human Resources Administrator**

We're seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Human Resources Administrator to join our Robotics and Space Operations HR team on a 12-month contract basis. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in managing day-to-day administration and coordination activities, ensuring seamless HR operations, and providing exceptional support to our employees and managers.

**About the Role**:
As an HR Administrator, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee data, coordinating HR administrative tasks, and providing first-level support for employee inquiries. You'll also have the opportunity to develop and implement process improvements, analyze HR data, and contribute to special projects and events.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain electronic, physical, and HRMS employee records in compliance with company policies and applicable legislation
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of employee data, including new hires, promotions, and terminations
- Provide exceptional onboarding experiences for new employees, including welcome presentations and benefits orientations
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters
- Prepare routine reports for audit purposes, reviewing data for validity and taking corrective action as needed
- Develop and maintain HR metrics and analytics to inform business decisions
- Coordinate special events, such as Take Your Kids to Work day and training sessions
- Collaborate with HR team members to develop and implement process improvements
- Provide administrative support for recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration

**Requirements and Preferences**:

- 2+ years of experience in human resources or a related field, with a strong customer service orientation
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities
- Experience with HR analytics, HRMS systems, and time and attendance systems is an asset
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and collaborate with team members
- Experience in a unionized environment is an asset
