Flair Airlines is currently seeking a permanent, full-time **Network Development and Scheduling Analyst** to join our growing and ever-changing organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Network Development and Scheduling, the Network Development and Scheduling Analyst will be responsible for building Flair’s route network and schedule across a portfolio of routes and bases.

As the airline grows, the network plan will be a key determinant of profitability while the schedule will play a crucial role in developing a ULCC operational set-up. The primary responsibilities of the role will be to manage all aspects of network planning and scheduling across a portfolio of markets. This includes: developing the optimal route network, building and managing a ULCC schedule, managing the slot portfolio, and securing traffic rights as necessary for international operations.

The Network Development and Scheduling Analyst will be based out of Vancouver, BC (YVR) and some travel may be required.

**Primary Job Functions**:
The duties of the **Network Development and Scheduling Analyst** include:

- Recommend new routes through the rigorous market and financial analysis to deliver on Flair’s strategic goals, maximize profitability and minimize cost
- Develop tools and databases to continuously improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy of new route profitability assessments
- Manage and build a ULCC schedule with cross-functional input to ensure a commercially-optimized schedule that also meets operational efficiency and safety requirements
- Maximize asset utilization through the efficient scheduling of both aircraft and crew
- Manage Flair’s slot portfolio as an asset to be protected and grown
- Secure traffic rights as necessary for the expansion of international operations

**Safety Duties, Accountabilities, Authorities, and Responsibilities**:

- Report proactive and reactive safety issues;
- Demonstrate knowledge of employee responsibilities regarding safety and actively participate in the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) program;
- Conduct assigned tasks and corrective actions; and
- Encourage active participation in the SMS for all personnel.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- At least 1-2 years experience in airline network planning or scheduling is preferred
- Excellent analytical skills
- Crystal clear written and verbal communication
- Able to see the opportunities and challenge the status quo
- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references;
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC);
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of company policies and standards;
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located;
