Currently, we are seeking a part-time (32 hours per week) Facility Supervisor to join our team to work at the RCMP “E” Division Headquarters located in North Surrey, BC. The facility is a state-of-the-art, 35-acre multi-building complex that has won several awards.

The Facility Supervisor who joins our team will guide the Facility Maintenance functions, specifically Housekeeping and Help Desk Departments, within the Site in accordance with company policies and operational requirements of the Project Agreement and will serve as a point of contact after-hours for emergency situations.

In this role, some of your primary duties and responsibilities will include:

- Conduct daily briefings and supply distribution taking into consideration the inventory control process.
- Assist staff with tablet use and work order assignments as instructed by a department Supervisor/Manager.
- Conduct, delegate, and administer related housekeeping duties, cleaning programs, and/or project work.
- Handle urgent calls when a Supervisor/Manager is not available and contact an on-call Supervisor/Manager, as necessary.
- Ensure safe work practices, procedures, and methods are followed by the staff.
- Ensure Operative Team is meeting Reactive and Routine timelines as set out in the Project Agreement and/or on Work Requests.
- Ensure that all Housekeeping Equipment is regularly cleaned, is in a safe condition, and maintained in good working order.
- Perform audits and inspections as required.
- Utilize Time Management and ensure concerns raised by the Client are dealt with quickly and efficiently. When required, ensure that Client concerns and rectification have been communicated to the appropriate Manager.
- Act as a liaison between the Company, the Client, and the Help Desk Operators. Communicate effectively with Management and Client regarding emergency situations.
- Maintain a high-level knowledge of contractual obligation and penalty risks.
- Ensure enquiries on all modes of communications are responded to and logged in Maximo with the appropriate classification, priority level, and assigned trade according to the Client’s Facility Management requirements.
- Conduct, delegate, and administer Help Desk-related duties as well as support and guide Help Desk Operators with their tasks/projects.
- Escalate issues to appropriate Manager.
- Manage priorities and solve problems independently.
- Perform work order audit to ensure all requests have been logged and oversee the maintenance of Help Desk records in Maximo to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documents as required and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Fulfill Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Health & Safety Management Plans.
- Undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the Department / Service.
- Support the Company's Quality Policy Statement and actively participate in the achievement of Company and personal Quality objectives. Comply with the Company Policies and procedures.

**What you bring**:

- Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Building Service Workers Certificate from a reputable educational institution.
- Working knowledge of C.M.M.S., preferably Maximo.
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System knowledge and training.
- First Aid Level 1 certified or ability to be trained as a first aider.
- High flexibility with good interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment and to deal with all incoming requests in a calm, courteous, and effective manner.
- Well-developed customer service skills and ability to cope with demanding and varied customer requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a demanding, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and solve problems independently.
- Effective oral and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong eye for detail and the ability to deliver and coach all team members adhering to company standard
