Position Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking, packing and shipping orders while following instructions on picking tickets and work instructions. The Associate also contributes to timely and correct receipt, inspection and putaway of inbound shipments including customer returns. He/she also performs other duties as instructed by the supervisor or manager. These include but are not limited to: storage and inventory control, loading or unloading trucks, slotting merchandise, general housekeeping.
Position Responsibilities:
Order Picking and Packing- Accurately, effectively and efficiently locate, pull, count, and record goods from shelved for customer orders
Receiving, Inspection and Putaway- Accurately, effectively and efficiently inspect, count, receipt, label, put away goods from purchase orders- Accurately, effectively and efficiently inspect, count, receipt, label, put away goods from customer returns- Work with customer service team to resolved order related issues
Load Consolidation and Shipping- Accurately, effectively and efficiently, count, pack, record, and ship customer orders- Generate logistics documents: packing slips, commercial invoices, bills of lading, export declarations, pallet tags- Consolidate and palletize goods following pre-determined work instructions
Material Handling, Storage and Inventory Control- Audit, count, move and put away goods with accuracy and efficiency
Other Responsibilities- Clean workstations, warehouse and material handling equipment- Other duties as assigned by team lead, supervisor or manager
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
- Keen attention to detail.- Ability to stay on your feet for prolonged periods of time.- Ability to meet pressing deadlines in a busy environment while maintaining accuracy.- Ability work outdoors: loading and unloading truck in the rain, frigid winter conditions or sizzling summer conditions- Ability to work well as part of a team but be self-motivated and independent at times.- Good communications skills.- Comfortable and willing to perform repetitive tasks including walking/standing for up to 10 hours.- Able to read & interpret a pick ticket and packing list

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Ability to bend, squat, push, pull, reach, lift, and climb- Ability to lift up to 25 kilograms (55 pounds) repetitively- Ability to stand up for 10 hours- Ability to work in a dusty environment- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions- Ability to work in an environment where temperature fluctuates; from 0C to +40C- Ability to work overtime as needed (up to 20%, especially during holidays)
