**Job Summary & Role Purpose**:
K2 Fasteners is seeking a reliable and diligent Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Burnaby. This role is crucial for the efficient handling and organization of inventory, performing physical tasks such as loading and unloading shipments, and ensuring accurate documentation in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Warehouse Associate will support the Warehouse Manager in maintaining a clean, safe, and productive warehouse while contributing to the overall success of the operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the timely and accurate processing of all shipments to meet delivery requirements for sales departments and branch transfers.
- Complete daily checklists for forklift, reach truck, and order picker machines.
- Lift various sizes of steel rods, and prepare for shipping.
- Check barcode descriptions, part numbers, and quantities to minimize errors and ensure accuracy.
- Use the warehouse management system for pallet rack storage and bin stock locations.
- Participate in inventory counts and verifications as required.
- Work closely with the warehouse team involved in shipping, receiving, processing, and checking shipments.
- Write waybills, and schedule pick ups using various couriers by phone and online.
- Assist in the machine shop. Use of the hydraulic saw, belt sander, and bolt chamfering machine.
- Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe workplace environment.
- Maintain accurate location charts for efficient warehouse operations.
- Load and unload trucks, and containers using the counterbalance forklift.

**Qualifications & Experience Requirements**:

- Forklift, reach truck, order picker, and fall arrest training certifications preferred.
- Recent experience in a warehouse setting with ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of fractions, multiplication, and division.

Pay: $50,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
