**Job Summary**

The **Inventory Manager** is responsible for the accurate inventory of all incoming and outgoing products and supplies. The Inventory Manager will plan to maximize efficiencies and incorporate best supply chain practices, balancing costs, and product availability to improve accuracy. Additionally, the Inventory Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing inventory protocols and training both internal/external stakeholders on inventory processes. They will need to minimize inventory risks and employ creative solutions which would allow Archmill to provide a positive and competitive customer experience.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Provide hands-on leadership, guidance, mentorship, and performance management to the Inventory team to achieve their highest potential
- Responsible for ensuring Archmill has the right amount of stock to meet production needs and to avoid overstocking items, stock-out situations, etc.
- Developing, implementing, and managing proper procedures and processes to ensure high inventory accuracy (at part number/location detail and financial basis) for raw material, purchased components, WIP, and finished goods inventory in multi-site facilities
- Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels
- Lead quarterly review of inventory to ensure proper management of inventory
- Sustain and improve inventory turns and financial levels to ensure controls and strong performance
- Form and define inventory audit team to manage at all sites - counts, data reporting, finished goods and raw material, etc.
- Make recommendations to leadership about improvements in the inventory life cycle
- Minimize inventory loss by incorporating best supply chain practices
- Continue to support legacy business, customers, and product from end-to-end operations
- Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logístical needs
- Ensure supplier release issues are resolved effectively
- Maintain action plan to reduce slow-moving inventory
- Ensure proper FIFO rotation of inventory
- Provide ongoing timely supplier performance feedback
- Adheres to all policies and procedures including safety and environmental and utilizes 5S principles
- Any other reasonable request by management

**Qualifications and Experience**
- A minimum of 10 years within procurement and inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment at a senior level
- Experience in Process Improvement and Development
- Product and inventory management certification is a plus (CPIM or similar)
- Experience working with inventory management software, ERP systems, and forecasting strategies.
- Familiar with data entry systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve to well-judged decisions.
- Strategic mindset has a keen sense of priorities, along with relationship-building the landscape changes.
- A strong team player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
- Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Smartsheet
- Excellent planning, interpersonal/leadership, team building, and organizational skills
- Highly adaptable, motivated, analytical/data-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work autonomously
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of basic accounting principles is an asset

**Education**
- Post-Secondary education or equivalent related to business, logistics (warehousing/distribution), systems engineering, supply chain management, or equivalent experience required.
