**About us**

Wild Poppy Market is currently seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team.
The role involves preparing fresh, high-quality food, including homemade soups, breakfasts, salads, pastas, and more. This position focuses heavily on batch cooking and maintaining consistency in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
We offer a competitive wage based on experience, a share in the tip pool, and full benefits after 3 months employment for full time employees.

Shifts are Tuesday-Saturday 7am-3pm.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and components according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are consistently followed in the kitchen.
- Assist in meal preparation and presentation, ensuring quality and taste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to efficiently manage food service during busy periods.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food service standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
