1948 Bar & Bistro is looking for Kitchen Staff to fill Line Cook role.
Your Role in Our Kitchen

As a Line Cook, you’ll play a key role in executing a diverse and thoughtfully crafted menu that showcases everything from fresh oysters, seafood linguini and tenderloin, to handmade sauces, and decadent desserts.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Line Cook
- Execute and plate dishes with precision across a variety of stations (grill, sauté, fry, cold, salad, etc.)
- Maintain consistency, quality, and timing under pressure during busy service periods
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of your station, including proper food storage and labeling
- Collaborate with kitchen team to uphold a smooth, efficient line operation
- Assist in the daily preparation of fresh ingredients including vegetables, sauces, garnishes, and stocks
- Support mise en place for dishes in restaurant and catering events as requested by Chef
- Maintain a clean and sanitary prep area while following all food safety standards
- Assist Chef as needed with various kitchen duties
What You Bring:

- 2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen preferred
- Solid knife skills
- Ability to follow recipes and plating guides with attention to detail
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first attitude
- Food Safe Level 1
- Passion for great food and hospitality

Pay: $18.75-$22.00 per hour
