**Description**

We are looking for a talented and motivated Chemical Process Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, optimization and supervision of chemical processes used in industrial production. You will work closely with production, R&D, quality and safety teams to ensure process efficiency and compliance. Your main tasks will include analyzing existing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing innovative solutions to optimize production. You will also be responsible for ensuring that processes comply with current regulations and guarantee the safety of operations. As a Chemical Process Engineer, you will need a solid understanding of chemical engineering principles, as well as practical industry experience. You'll be working on a variety of projects, from improving existing processes to designing new facilities. We're looking for a rigorous professional with an excellent analytical mind and the ability to solve complex problems. You will also need good communication skills to collaborate effectively with different teams and present your recommendations to stakeholders. If you're passionate about chemical process optimization and want to contribute to the continuous improvement of industrial performance, we'd love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and optimize industrial chemical processes;
- Analyze process performance and propose improvements;
- Ensure process compliance with current regulations;
- Collaborate with production and R&D teams;
- Oversee the implementation of new technologies and methodologies;
- Guarantee the safety and efficiency of operations;
- Write technical reports and document process modifications;
- Train personnel on new procedures and technologies.

**Qualifications**

**Requirements**:

- Degree in chemical engineering or related field;
- 15 years’ experience in the chemical industry;
- A member of the Québec Engineering society (OIQ);
- Thorough knowledge of process engineering principles;
- Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software;
- Proficiency in both English and French;
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems;
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
- Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations;
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
