RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure AO business production demands of Maitland facility are met in a safe and efficient manner
- Lead training, development and performance of production operators in safety, health, and environmental compliance
- Quality system and improvement support including; auditing, operating instructions, ISO, RC, external audit support, management reviews, customer complaints and variance investigations utilizing various root cause analysis techniques.
- Organizational development lead in operations using various tools including: expectation and goal setting, communications and production meetings.
- Management of Change and plant engineering support lead in areas of safety, PSM, quality and improvement initiatives in areas including sustainability, energy, OEE and capital effectiveness.
- Monitor production budget and pursue cost savings opportunities and capacity improvements
- Principle liaison with the process and research groups, as well as other plants, for product and process technology
- Active member of the Management Team, and is involved in decisions for the site outside of direct responsibility
- Can act as backup to Site Manager in cases of unavailability

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- BS Engineering or technical field, or equivalent education and experience preferred (Chemical Engineering Preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in production, process technology, management, and/or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of management of change, EHSQ and PSM systems, and business management principles.
- Strong interpersonal, technical, organizational, team, and performance management skills
- Demonstrated ability to be self directed and build highly effective engaged teams
- Working knowledge of ISO and Responsible Care.
- Experience working with Unions preferred
- Good knowledge of appropriate IT tools (e.g., MS Office, SAP).
