**Overview**

We are seeking a qualified **Administrative Professional Instructor** to join our team. A successful Administrative Professional provides a vital support function in any busy office. You will help enable our students to use their initiative and work to tight deadlines, as well as responding to the demanding needs of more senior colleagues. With our Administrative Professional Diploma, our students will receive high quality office-based training which not only gives them great IT skills but will also teach them how to speak the language of business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and facilitate the delivery of classroom materials and other materials as required for online and in-person classrooms.
- Develop appropriate learning activities and teaching plans for each teaching assignment.
- Document participant attendance, participation, and academic progress and share this information with the career coaches to support work-experience placements.
- Answer participant questions and provide individual feedback as required.
- Manage the classroom and activities to provide an optimum learning environment for participants, including the maintenance of a predictable routine and environment.
- Work 1-on-1 with participants that need extra support.
- Provide direction and instruction to the part time Teaching Assistant to support class management and participant learning.
- Participate in program debriefing sessions(s), and provide recommendations related to course content, materials, participant preparedness, delivery format, etc.
- Collaborate with instructors at other delivery sites as needed to support a coordinated scope.
- Provide feedback on curriculum content.
- Identify areas for program improvement, especially for participant experience and workplace preparedness.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Management or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in administrative roles, preferably in a corporate or educational setting.
- Proven track record of effective teaching and instructional design, with experience in adult education or training programs.
- Certification in instructional design or teaching methodologies is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures, office technologies, and industry standards.
- Experience with online learning platforms and virtual instruction is desirable.
- Experience in using a learning management system (LMS) and other classroom technologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

- A positive attitude and presentable appearance
- Demonstrated ability to maintain utmost discipline in the classroom.
- Ability to problem solve.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
