**Job Summary**

Johnston Meier Insurance has an exciting position available at our No. 5 Rd office in Richmond, BC for a Commercial Lines Assistant. If you have great communications and interpersonal skills, a General Insurance Level 1 License, and are willing to learn, we'd like to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients
- Assist Commercial Producers with their portfolios in numerous areas such as marketing, processing, customer contact for additional information, accounts receivable, and claims reporting, to name a few.
- Keep detailed notes on our computer system at all times (Paperless Environment)
- Keep abeyances updated and current

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required**
- Minimum Level 1 General Insurance Salesperson License
- Insurance office experience
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service
- Flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary
- Company Portal knowledge is an asset
- Computer skills including working knowledge with Word & Excel
