**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care.
- Works under minimum supervision from the doctor.
- Conduct patient assessments and document medical histories.
- Familiarity with acute care practices and pediatric patient needs is highly desirable.
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provides treatment plans and diagnosis.
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their health and treatment.
- Prescribe medications and administer vaccines.
- Perform office billing tasks, including OHIP, uninsured and IFH billing.
- Maintain accurate medical records using Avaros (Oscar) or similar electronic health record systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the clinical environment.
- Counseling patients.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a walk-in or family doctor office setting is mandatory.
- Completed at least 1 Canadian equivalency exam is mandatory.
- Proficiency in medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Experience with medication administration and phlebotomy techniques is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Must know how to bill ohip at least basic codes.
- Must know how to counsel Patients.
- Must be familiar with Canadian medication.
- Its not an administration job or front desk job and we cant train you to do the job.
- Must have a medicine degree from a university.
- Must have finished at least one Canadian exam.
(MCCEE), (MCCQE), (NAC OSCE).
