**The Opportunity**

We’re hiring a **Load Booker / Account Specialist** to join our operations team. This role is essential in maintaining daily freight activity and ensuring consistent communication with customers and brokers. You’ll be responsible for **booking loads**, **setting appointments**, and **ensuring all shipment information is accurate and up to date**—keeping freight moving and relationships strong.

This is a **fast-paced, detail-driven** role ideal for someone with a sharp eye, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for logistics and customer service.

**What You’ll Do**
- Book freight loads through online load boards (e.g. Loadlink, ITS) and direct customer outreach
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers to confirm details, update statuses, and resolve issues
- Schedule and manage pickup and delivery appointments
- Monitor shipment timelines and notify stakeholders of any delays or disruptions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in dispatch systems
- Coordinate with internal dispatch and driver teams to align booking and delivery expectations
- Track and manage multiple loads at once with precision and urgency

**Who You Are**
- Experience booking freight loads, working in dispatch, brokerage, or operations is **strongly preferred**:

- Familiarity with load boards like **Loadlink** and **ITS** is an asset
- Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills
- Clear communicator, both written and verbal
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A team player with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Experience with **TransPlus Fleet Manager** is an asset, but not required

Pay: $55,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
