The Opportunity

We're hiring a Load Booker / Account Specialist to join our operations team. This role is essential in maintaining daily freight activity and ensuring consistent communication with customers and brokers. You'll be responsible for booking loads, setting appointments, and ensuring all shipment information is accurate and up to date—keeping freight moving and relationships strong.

This is a fast-paced, detail-driven role ideal for someone with a sharp eye, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for logistics and customer service.

What You'll Do

• Book freight loads through online load boards (e.g. Loadlink, ITS) and direct customer outreach
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers to confirm details, update statuses, and resolve issues
• Schedule and manage pickup and delivery appointments
• Monitor shipment timelines and notify stakeholders of any delays or disruptions
• Answer customer phone calls and respond to all email communications promptly and professionally
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in dispatch systems
• Coordinate with internal dispatch and driver teams to align booking and delivery expectations
• Track and manage multiple loads at once with precision and urgency

Who You Are

• Experience booking freight loads, working in dispatch, brokerage, or operations is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with load boards like Loadlink and ITS is an asset
• Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills
• Clear communicator, both written and verbal
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• A team player with a solutions-oriented mindset
• Experience with TransPlus Fleet Manager is an asset, but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
