**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration
- Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
- Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
- Solid understanding of national, provincial, and local payroll regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Contribute to the successful payroll processing and administration of payroll utilizing an end-to-end in-house payroll system.
- Track and verify employee bi-weekly payroll, vacations, leaves of absence and retroactive payments.
- Monitor, audit, and reconcile payroll account balances to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare all government remittances as required by law within the timeframes required.
- Response to inquiries regarding pay and benefits.
- Prepare year-end reconciliations and reports.
- Other payroll duties and projects as assigned.
- Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) Designation
- Master’s degree in accounting
- Experience in programming and automation.

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
