**What You’ll Be Doing**:The **Procurement Coordinator**, working with Director of Procurement, will execute activities in accordance with the annual goals for the procurement function and assist all other functions in the organization in achieving their quality, schedule and cost goals.
- This role is required to adhere to Sienna Senior Living Inc. Hybrid Work Policy of working 3x a week at our Markham, Ontario corporate head office. _
- Manage vendor contract administration including harmonization and standardization of all contract terms, vendors, products and services procured by the company.
- Maintain spend and warehouse reports.
- Maintain current products, Furniture, Fixture & Equipment (FF&E), Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E), services and design standards documents.
- Provide various purchasing, planning and control reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
- Handle inquiries from Procurement inbox.
- Monitor procurement performance and compliance for all products and services.
- Assist on tendering process in accordance with best practices, including documents preparation, follow-up and analysis of bid documents.
- Assist on order processing including tendering, preparing budgets, creating purchase orders, expediting, overseeing installations, managing invoices and resolving deficiencies, all while ensuring on time delivery and on budget status.
- Assist on capital projects from inception to completion for the purpose of procuring goods and services. ie. renovations, redevelopment of homes, and new builds by working with key stakeholders including Sienna departments, designers, project managers, suppliers, and general contractors with a focus on achieving effective pricing and products selection for the benefit of operations and fiscal responsibility.
- Update project templates and reports to track project status and budget.
- Communicate continuously with Sienna business partners to understand and execute their procurement needs.
- Maintain the required knowledge of the supply market, and business environment trends to provide the company with advice and to identify opportunities to improve the business.
- Stay current in procurement best practices and understand the impact of changing external environmental factors (competitive, regulatory, technical, etc.).

**Education & Experience Required**:

- Bachelor’s degree and/or Diploma or Certificate in related discipline, SCMP supply chain management, or equivalent designation is preferred or working towards completion.
- Minimum 3 year related experience in procurement or related discipline with capabilities in controlling and reducing external spending by developing a robust supplier base.
- Strong professional business communication skills and ability to establish and build relationships at the vendor level.
- Well developed and demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail, project & time management, prioritizing and follow-up.
- Ability to deliver results and positively impact the company’s financial directive.
- High level of competency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.).
- Long-term care, retirement residence or healthcare experience considered an asset.
