Overview: Dr. Pablo Rusjan at McGill University is looking for a full-time, contract Research Assistant to support Health Canada regulated Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging studies. The role involves ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support with administrative tasks to PI and Lab Lead Health Canada regulated PET imaging studies.
- Assist with protocol and grant preparations (NIH, USA/CIHR), and submissions.
- Assist with recruitment, screening and scheduling of study participants.
- Assist Lab Lead and PI manage participant data and ensure proper storage in databases such as NIH databases.
- Assist Lab Lead and PI ensure all lab SOPs are followed.
- Monitor case report forms to assess compliance with HC and REB regulations.
- Provide general administrative support (purchases, reimbursements)
- Track project expenses, prepare progress reports, and contribute to presentations for both scientific and non-scientific audiences.
- Assist Lab Lead and PI provide onboarding for new trainees.
- Contribute to the organization of the lab and support a diverse, respectful, and compliant work environment.

**Qualifications**
- BSc/Master’s significant relevant experience in conducting Health Canada regulated studies.
- Practical knowledge of HC regulations and ethical requirements.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with protocol and grant preparation, as well as research ethics board submissions.
- Proficiency in managing research databases.
- Familiarity with literature review and grant proposal processes (CIHR/NIH).
- Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.
