Summary

Responsible for maintaining the standards set forth by The Host Hospitality Group by providing excellent service with speed and efficiency. Greet guests with positive and upbeat attitude. One will need to receive orders correctly from guests and ensure their food is a replica of their request. Reconcile money kept in register and make accurate change for consumers. Keep front of stand visually clean and pleasing. Problem solve issues with customers and/or team members. Maintain, track Front of House Inventory.

Vital Duties & Responsibilities:
**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guest with specific welcoming tag lines provided in guide to maintain cultural identity
- Consistently check for cleanliness of front of house area & station/equipment
- Clean thoroughly if necessary
- Learn and study current menu to know information on what it served. Ensuring all team members are also on the same page.
- Follow exact procedures of cash handling & accurately give the correct change to guest
- Responsible for placing correct order for guest and ensuring kitchen staff has received correct information
- Follow safety policies aligning to government standards
- One is to report if any standards are not in compliance with policies
- Deposit cash & reconcile cash with managers
- Report to manager at end of shift to check station completion
- Responsible for ensuring all opening/closing checklists are complete
- Keeping track of Front of House inventory.
- Problem resolving any guest or team member issues.

Education/Experience
- High School Diploma accepted or related experience/training/equivalent mixture of knowledge & experience.

Language Skills
- Must read, write and speak English fluently. Bilingualism with Spanish preferred but not required

Mathematical Skills
- Ability to calculate; subtraction, addition, and multiplication for money exchange purposes. Basic algebra knowledge is required.

Physical Requirements
- Required to talk, hear. Occasionally needs to stand, walk, open heavy doors. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs consecutively. Kneeling and crouching multiple times a day. Usage arms to hands and fingers to; handle, reach, or feel. Close vision/distance vision/color vision required
