Flender Corporation Canada is currently looking for a Technical Sales and Service Support Professional to join our Flender mechanical team in Edmonton, Alberta. This position engages in offering solutions and services, business development and acquisition of new customers, including contract negotiations and closing. It involves reviewing customer requests, preparing tenders, submitting them to clients, and ensuring that Flender can satisfy the contract requirements. The position is responsible for the preparation of work orders, entering orders with multiple Flender manufacturing plants and in collaboration with other Flender Business Units when following up on deliveries as required. It champions other aspects of project management within the business unit not listed herein.

As one of technical sales and service support team member, this position will function as the main link to technical departments in the Flender plants, ensure the proper technical specification of products and issue technical documents as required. Additional duties could include providing technical assistance and training to the inside and outside sales force as well as customer visitation in defined regions or on an as-needed basis.

**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office is necessary, and proficiency in AutoCAD or reading engineering drawings would be an asset.

Fluency in the English language is necessary, while knowledge of French and German would be an asset.

Applicants must also be willing to eventually travel to Flender’s factories in Europe and attend sales or technical trainings.
