We are currently seeking a **Senior Business Analyst **to join our team **Remote** based anywhere in **Canada.**
- Develop and update Government of Canada Infrastructure Project and GCdocs operational processes for the creation, storage, access, management, sharing and transmission of information.
- Update the current Concept of Operations for the Government of Canada Infrastructure Project and GCdocs including procedures on security, hardware decommissioning, and asset management.
- Plan and implement processes based on gathered requirements.
- Analyzing the requirements, designing appropriate processes, and overseeing their execution to ensure they meet the specified needs of various branches/regions.
- Analyze data and identify gaps or patterns int the processing of Government of Canada Infrastructure Project accounts.
- Document and manage the transition activities from project to operations, focusing on infrastructure elements.
- Creating documentation, conducting review sessions, and implementing handover processes.
- Oversee system and user acceptance testing including test planning, execution, and documentation of test results.
- Initiate and coordinate Government of Canada Infrastructure account activation activities with branches/regions and Government of Canada Infrastructure operations teams.
- Oversee the activation process, ensure timely communication with clients, address any issues, and confirm that all requirements are met.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience working as a Business Analyst.
- Must currently hold a valid Federal Canadian Secret Security Clearance.
- Must be fully bilingual (English & French).
- Must have experience within the Public Sector/Federal government.
- Experience with tools, such as: BPWin, Oracle CASE, Rational Rose, RUP.
- Must demonstrate, using project descriptions, experience in GCDocs and CONOPS within the last seven (7) years, as follow:

- Three (3) projects, each with a minimum duration of six (6) consecutive months demonstrating experience in the tools listed above.
- Must demonstrate, using one (1) or more projects, a minimum number of five (5) years of experience within the last fifteen (10) years. The project(s) must demonstrate the same or like tasks detailed below:

- Develop and document statements of requirements for considered alternatives.
- Perform business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows.
- Evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document items such as database content, structure, Application subsystems.
- Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within Application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems.
- Establish acceptance test criteria with client.
- Support and use the selected departmental methodologies.

**Education Requirement**:

- Must have a Canadian university degree or college/CEGEP diploma related to computer science, information technology, or engineering or equivalent. A copy of the degree or diploma must be provided if requested.
