**Job Summary**

We are looking for a dedicated, experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood Assistant who enjoy working with Infants, Toddlers and Preschools to join our team

This is a full-time permanent ECA position, the work hours shall regularly be 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day. The work hours shall normally be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

**Duties**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote learning and development in areas such as language, math, science, and social skills,
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior,
- Provide individualized attention to each child to support their unique needs and learning styles,
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education,
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, keeping detailed records of their achievements and areas for improvement,
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment,
- Follow all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

- Must have a Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and be registered and in good standing with the College of Early childhood Educators.
- Be proficient in English (both written and verbal),
- be familiar with AQI and HDLH principles, as well as the CCEYA requirements (or willing and able to learn),
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices,
- Experience working with children in an educational setting,
- Excellent organizational and time management skills,
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment,
- Strong leadership skills to effectively guide and motivate children,
- CPR level C/First Aid Certificate,
- Capable of independent and self-motivated work flows within a collaborative team environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
