**Overview**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support each child's development.
- Assess children's progress regularly and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with special education professionals to support children with disabilities or special needs.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development.
- Utilize effective time management and organizational skills to ensure smooth classroom operations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting is essential.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
- Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities is desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficient computer skills for classroom management and communication purposes.
- Excellent writing skills for documentation and reporting purposes.

Pay: $23.00 per hour
