About the Role

Haliscape Construction is hiring a **reliable Landscape Labourer** to join our team for **year-round, fast-paced outdoor work**. You’ll be involved in landscaping projects during spring, summer, and fall, and **snow removal operations in the winter**.

Key Responsibilities
- Build patios, walkways, and retaining walls using stone or interlock
- Spread, grade, and level soil, mulch, and gravel
- Prepare lawns, plantings, and perform softscape work
- Maintain organized and safe job sites, move materials as needed
- Safely operate hand tools and small equipment (wheelbarrows, tampers, etc.)
- Participate in snow and ice removal during winter months

Working Conditions
- Lift and carry up to 55 lbs daily
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions (hot, cold, wet)
- **PPE Requirements**:

- Safety vest and steel-toe boots must be worn at all times
- Cut-resistant safety gloves must be worn when required for specific tasks
- Job sites are **vehicle access only** — not served by public transit. Reliable transportation is essential
- **Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks**

**Requirements**:

- Previous landscaping or construction experience (1+ season preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and personal transportation
- Physically fit, punctual, and dependable
- Able to follow direction and work well in a team

Assets (Optional)
- First Aid certification
- Experience operating small equipment (excavator, skid steer, loader) — higher pay possible
- Prior snow and ice control experience

Compensation & Benefits
- $19-$24/hour based on experience
