**THE ROLE**
- Serve as a primary contract for submitting insurance claims for boarding students and managing hospital billing
- Coordinate student insurance claims with the school’s preferred insurance provider to ensure all students have appropriate health coverage in place
- Serve as a first point of contact for students, parents and/or guardians within the Health Centre
- Coordinate and organize Public Health Department immunization on campus clinics, and report student’s immunizations to the public health department
- Ensure all students are in compliance with the Immunization Schools Pupil Act
- Assist the Director, Health Services with administrative duties such as students’ registrations, meeting coordination, meeting room booking, note taking at staff meetings and nurses’ schedule planning
- Coordinate and order required supplies, PPE, testing kits, and any other required ad-hoc items associated with the Health Centre
- Assist the Director, Health Centre with implementing clear processes and strong organized systems
- Oversee the medical student record system, Magnus Health, and assist in drafting health forms and providing training to new nurses
- Maintain accurate, confidential, comprehensive and up-to-date students’ medical records and statistics
- Upload student care plans onto BBK12
- Arrange student transportation to medical appointments
- Provide personal assistant support to medical staff
- Responsible for tracking and monitoring medical results and providing updates to the Health Centre staff
- Keep accurate records of invoices for billing purposes and reconcile monthly Health Centre accounts

**WHAT YOU BRING**
- Post-secondary education
- Previous administrative experience in the medical field is considered an asset
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite
- Working knowledge of SharePoint, Blackbaud, BBK12 and Magnus Health
- Multi-tasking, accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve
- Strong follow-up and tracking skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
