**Summary**:
Reporting to the Call Centre Supervisor, the Product Specialist provides technical information on product specifications, provides education on products and instructions on methods of operation to customers and co-workers. Must be flexible and be able to assist and provide customer service representative coverage as needed. Bass Pro Shops / Cabela's Canada is looking for someone who is an expert in the field of Firearms, Archery, Hunting and/or Fishing. **Location** (onsite): Cabela's Canada Headquarters - 25 De Baets Street, Winnipeg, MB
**Responsibilities**
- Review and remove holds or flags on sales orders and assist with returns processes. Responsible for following up on customer orders and concerns such as freight and various other order issues.
- Instruct customers on properly using outdoor products and assist them in order completion.
- Assist customers with warranty and repair information.
- Share knowledge through collaborating with Customer Service Representatives on technical issues related to outdoor products.
- Stay current with new outdoor-related trends and emerging technologies.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years in sales or customer service
- Strong knowledge of archery, firearms or fishing is preferred
- Ability to understand and explain technical features and uses of outdoor products
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of SAP is an asset
- Ability to prioritize and effectively handle multiple tasks
- Ability to communicate information, written and verbally, with internal and external business contacts in a professional and courteous manner
- Skilled in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of firearms with a current and valid Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) is an asset
