**The opportunity**:
We are looking for a **Social Media Strategist & Content Creator** to join our growing team that will be reporting directly to our Head of Marketing. This role will be responsible for creating social media content on various platforms for the purpose of scaling our national brand awareness for both Stallion Express & Shippsy (with a extra focus on the latter), as well as forming meaningful relationships with our existing and future clients.
**What will I be doing?**
- Developing strong content strategy on relevant social media channels such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Youtube.
- Planning, shooting and editing various short form content for TikTok and Instagram.
- Searching and partnering with relevant online influencers.
- Create weekly social media reports to evaluate content performance.
- Community management through responding to all inbound messages and post comments.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design, brand building and influencer marketing.
**Am I qualified for the position?**
- Minimum 2 year experience in social media marketing in a corporate environment.
- Deep familiarity with social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube).
- Must be comfortable being on-camera.
- Eagerness to learn new marketing strategies and keep up with industry trends.
- Self-starter, well organized, thrives in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Flexible and able to multitask multiple responsibilities. Must be able to quickly adapt with a positive mindset.
- Have a positive and outgoing personality, with a professional demeanor (maturity, integrity, self-discipline).
- Project management experience considered an asset because there will be collaboration with various internal teams.
**What’s the pay?**
Starting at $45,000 to $60,000, depending on your previous accomplishments, with a big emphasis on “starting” We’re hoping to continuously grow your skills, this role, and the salary that comes with it Again, this is a hybrid position _**(MWF in house)**_ based out of our HQ in Mississauga, ON.
