**About the role**:
The Hospital strives to deliver care that is centred on patients and families. Patient and Family Centred Care (PFCC)

is the provision of care that is respectful of, and responsive to individual patient/family preferences, needs, and values

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Physical Plant & Mechanical, the Plumber is responsible for maintaining, and

monitoring of all plumbing and piping equipment, services and systems in the hospital and on the hospital grounds.

Qualifications:

- Valid certificate of qualification supported by certificate of apprenticeship Plumber/Fitter
- Backflow certification, or willingness to obtain, would be considered an asset
- Institutional maintenance, installation and repair experience would be preferred
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, plant operations, electrical safety, systems and control would be

considered an asset
- Ability to exhibit a courteous and professional manner when interacting with colleagues, staff, patients and visitors

is required
- Valid Emergency First Aid and C.P.R. Certification, or willingness to obtain, would be considered an asset

Salary Range: $35.900 to 37.400
