**Description**:
**Role Overview**:
The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a key role in maintaining sound vendor relationships and supporting the Company’s treasury management practices. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for ensuring payments are made promptly, maintaining accurate records of supplier transactions, and resolving discrepancies. The role requires collaboration with internal and external vendors to address financial discrepancies, and support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
This position will report to the AP Supervisor.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Invoice Processing**:Accurately enter vendor invoices and employee expenses into the Company’s ERP system in a timely manner.
- **Collaboration**: Work with project managers and purchasers to ensure timely and accurate item receipts, facilitating the matching process.
- **Vendor Payments**:Prepare and process vendor payments according to set terms and conditions.
- **Vendor Set-up**: Complete new vendor set-ups, including banking details.
- **Compliance**: Handle various types of invoice processing in line with the Company’s internal policies and accounting standards.
- **Reconciliation**: Perform vendor statement reconciliations.
- **Reporting**: Support vendor and other accounts payable reporting requirements as they are developed.
- **Ad-hoc Requests**:Handle other ad-hoc requests related to payables as needed.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- A degree or diploma in a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment with high-volume transactions.
- Very strong attention to detail.
- Methodical approach to problem-solving and task execution.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.

**How to Apply**:
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
