**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a **Philanthropy Specialist - Grants & Partnerships** to join our dynamic Philanthropy team. In this role, you will focus on researching, writing, and stewarding grants and funding proposals to support our vital initiatives. You will play a key role in generating community support, ultimately increasing BSF’s impact.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Grants Program Management**: Lead and manage the grants program, working closely with Executive Directors and Program Leads to identify funding needs.
- **Prospect Research**: Conduct research to identify grant funding opportunities from corporations, foundations, and government agencies.
- **Proposal Development**: Prepare and draft compelling grant proposals and letters of intent, ensuring alignment with BSF’s mission.
- **Stewardship**: Cultivate and maintain relationships with funding agencies through effective communication and reporting.
- **Collaboration**: Work with program staff and finance to produce accurate and timely grant reports, ensuring compliance with grant agreements.
- **Cohesion & Culture**: Foster interdepartmental collaboration to promote a culture of philanthropy within BSF.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education & Experience**: University degree or college diploma in business administration, marketing, or fundraising management, with at least five years of relevant experience.
- **Proven Success**: Demonstrated track record in fundraising, grant writing, and proposal development.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in MS Office, MS Teams, and experience with CRM databases like DonorPerfect.
- **Organizational Skills**: Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Strong communication and collaboration abilities, engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- **Ethical Commitment**: High integrity and adherence to ethical standards, including the Donor Bill of Rights.
