**About the Role**:
**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Greet all customers and visitors with a smile and be friendly, helpful and engaged
- Handle high volume and traffic periods, servicing multiple tables and customers
- Handle the retail sales and ensure accurate inventory practices are followed
- Ensure the retail space is creatively merchandised and well-maintained
- Suggest, sell and serve alcoholic and food products responsibly, while providing customers with an enjoyable experience
- Package online orders, as required
- Perform quality work efficiently with mínimal supervision
- Have knowledge of our products/services as well as our brand, and local area
- Stay up-to-date with all product knowledge and educate customers about our beer and food offerings
- Take all inquiries from customers and direct them to the appropriate contact(s)
- Assist with hospitality functions, special events (onsite and offsite), and other activities, as required
- Perform daily task, such as cleaning, stocking, organizing, ordering, and accepting deliveries
- Ensure safety of our customers by verifying age and identification to responsibly serve liquor and by following all public health measures
- Ensure all public health measures are being met and enforced, as required
- Follow all required health, safety, prevention, and sanitation procedures at all times
- Ready and willing to work in a service role which may include direct contact with the public and/or vendor representatives
- Provide support and training to colleagues, as required
- Maintain proper audit track records, follow company policies & procedures
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Provide support for brewery operations, when necessary
- Work in a team environment and complete other duties and projects, as assigned by the Manager/Owner

**Additional Requirements & Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Smart Serve Certificate required
- Food Handling Certificate required
- 1-2 years of serving experience preferred
- Experience in craft brewery/restaurant/retail/customer service preferred
- Excellent knowledge of craft beer and beer styles an asset
- Ability to lift an/or move heavy objects up to at least 80 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods of time
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work courteously and professionally with others
- Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to problem-solve and deal with unique customer situations
- Proactive, self-reliant, motivated, professional, and responsible

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal

**Salary**: $16.55-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
