Carlsberg Canada recently purchased Waterloo Brewing Ltd. so Carlsberg Canada includes the production, distribution and commercialization of Carlsberg and Waterloo products as well as various co-manufacturing partnerships.
**Role Summary**
**Accountabilities**:
- Drive LandShark’s growth by leading strategic planning, including brand, connection, innovation, and commercialization plans based on consumer insights.
- Own the brand by advocating for LandShark and developing consumer-focused plans across brand positioning, innovation, media, in-store, and experiential activities.
- Manage projects by collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to implement effective consumer and commercial plans.
- Oversee creative development by identifying key ideas and ensuring impactful execution that aligns with LandShark’s goals.
- Manage the budget for advertising and media to maximize ROI, including overseeing production and agency fees.
- Analyze data to develop strategies and assess results, ensuring campaigns resonate with consumers.
- Coordinate social media efforts with the digital team to engage the brand in culture and optimize results.
- Work with Trade Marketing to deliver top-notch in-store executions.
- Track brand performance and analyze results.
- Manage stakeholders across departments and partner agencies.
- Deliver brand campaigns to both large internal audiences and direct customers.
- Support other brands within the Alc. Beverage portfolio.
- Travel and work outside regular hours as needed for events and marketing activities in the beer industry.
**Education & Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 2-4-year experience in a marketing role preferably in CPG, snacking, beverage or alcohol industry
- A passion for brands - we are the voice of the brand for our consumers, a drive and passion for what we do to impact how our consumers feel about our brands is key.
- A desire to learn - as an entry level role in Brands Marketing in a truly Global business, opportunities to develop within Carlsberg are endless.
- Strong project management skills - the role includes managing multiple projects with varying timelines and a large network of stakeholders.
- Creative mindset - not afraid to share creative ideas when planning campaigns.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - the role requires management of stakeholders at all levels.
- Commercial acumen - good analytical skills and very comfortable with numbers
- Can work on multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.
