**About the position**

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Projects Coordinator (EP Coordinator) will play a critical role in advancing DARO’s strategic objectives and ensuring the successful execution of high-priority initiatives. As a core member of the Operations Team with a focus on executive operations, the EP Coordinator will lead the implementation of executive projects, coordinate cross-departmental efforts, and provide support to help the CEO and leadership team achieve key organizational goals.

DARO is a growing organization that recently completed a merger and is now entering an ambitious three-year strategic planning cycle. As internal systems are updated to reflect new priorities, the EP Coordinator will help ensure that these systems effectively support organizational growth and impact.

Key responsibilities include managing the rollout of new management processes, supporting strategic initiative tracking and reporting, and working with the COO to administer the budgeting process. The EP Coordinator will also assist the CEO with business development efforts, speaking engagements, and travel coordination.

This position offers a clear pathway for growth, with the opportunity to transition into a Lead Executive Projects Coordinator with increased responsibilities as a first step.

**Responsibilities**

Your specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
**Project Management and Execution (45%)**
- Lead and support special projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet objectives
- Track and report on the progress of key initiatives and ensure follow-through
- Draft briefings, reports, presentations, and thought leadership content on behalf of the CEO
- Management reporting on each of the pillars of DARO’s new 3-year strategic plan
- Leading the development of quarterly reports for the Board of Directors.

**Day-to-Day Administrative and Operational Support to the CEO (45%)**
- Manage the CEO’s schedule, ensuring efficient time management and prioritization of commitments
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas and following up on action items
- Handle travel and correspondence, including drafting and reviewing communications on behalf of the CEO
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the executive office, liaising with staff, board members, and external stakeholders
- Act as a thought partner to the CEO, providing input and recommendations on key decisions

**Other Responsibilities (10%, ad-hoc)**
- Participate as a member of the Operations Team
- Staff engagement projects
- Shared responsibility for office management

**Mindset and Approach**
- You have excelled as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager, or similar, and are looking for your next step.
- You are highly organized and enjoy helping others become more effective and efficient
- You have strong communication skills, and you enjoy proposing and discussing multiple paths towards an objective
- You are interested in learning more about the nonprofit sector, how it functions, and what role data, evaluation & learning plays
- You are looking to gain exposure to the challenges faced by the executive level of a growing tech services company and to contribute to new processes and solutions

**Contract Details**:
Location: Hybrid from Montreal, Canada _(in-office 3-4 days per week, Work From Home for 1-2 days - to be discussed)._

Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000 per year.

Start Date: As soon as possible.
