**About the Job**:
Are you an experienced estimator with a passion for precision and project success? We are seeking a skilled Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. This role involves estimating glass jobs, including window walls, curtain walls, storefronts, office partitions, and aluminum doors. If you excel at reading plans, interpreting architectural drawings, and preparing accurate bids, we want to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:
Plan Analysis: Review plans, drawings, and scope-of-work documents to understand project requirements and identify items within the scope.

Cost Estimation: Source materials, calculate costs and labor, and prepare detailed estimates/quotes.

Supplier Coordination: Maintain a directory of suppliers, subcontractors, and contractors. Obtain quotes from multiple sources to find the best options.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to create precise and reliable estimates.

Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors and customers. Proactively source new opportunities and build lasting partnerships.

Risk Assessment: Conduct risk evaluations and account for potential cost deviations.

Proposal Development: Draft comprehensive proposals detailing materials, costs, and timelines for projects.

Cost Optimization: Identify ways to reduce project costs while maintaining quality and adhering to budgets.

**What We’re Looking For**:
A university or college graduate is preferred.

Proven experience as a Project Manager and Estimator in the glass and glazing industry (5-8 years).

Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural plans and drawings.

Familiarity with glazing estimating software like Klaes or Opera is preferred.

Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Willingness to learn and expand your skill set within the industry.

Proficiency with computers and common software tools.
