**Scheduling Coordinator - Electrical Contractor**
Our maintenance service division is looking for a reliable, detailed, client focused individual with a cheerful “can do” attitude to join our team.
This position reports to the Vice President of Preventative Maintenance, but you will work with all team members.
Main responsibilities:
- Track upcoming, current, and past maintenance projects within a schedule and CMMS system.
- Ensure all resources, both within and outside of the company are scheduled and available.
- Coordinate parts, tools and specialty items required for each scheduled service.
- Communicate with professionalism and integrity with clients.
- Communicate with respect and persuasion to unionized staff members regarding work availability.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the preventative maintenance department and help build effective long-term relationships through all communications with customers and other outside parties.
- As part of the team, assist with preparation of reports, documents, and spreadsheets as well as filing and photocopying when necessary.
- Provides back-up reception as required for breaks, vacations, etc.
- Miscellaneous projects and assistance as required.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal communication and business writing skills.
- Strong proven ability to establish priorities and meet conflicting deadlines.
- Experience with multitiered scheduling.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining strong attention to details.
- Independent, well-organized, and a team player.
- Dedication to providing exceptional service, every day.
- Knowledge of electrical or mechanical preventative maintenance and/or facility management.
- An understanding of the project cycle.
- Reliable Transportation is required.
