**ROLE**:HR Manager (West)

**REPORTS TO**:VP of HR

**LOCATION**:Annacis Island (Hybrid)

We are looking for an **HR Manager** to join our Operations Team Our HR Manager will work as a liaison for the various departments of the business, across three manufacturing facilities on the lower mainland facilities in the lower mainland (Annacis Island, Port Coquitlam & Burnaby). They will be the key lead for labor and employee relations, employee experience, and engagement.

In this role, you will work alongside our Operations team to provide HR Guidance and build talent within the organization. **EXPERIENCE**
- You have 8+ years of experience working in Human Resources
- You have direct experience working with unions from JLM’s, grievance handling to negotiations
- You have experience in full cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions
- You are experienced in handling employee relations matters from investigations through to corrective action and termination of employment
- You have a Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related discipline
- You have CPHR designation
- You have experience working in a culturally diverse work environment
- You have experience working in CPG industry
- Strong experience of managing the transformation in a matrix environment

**NICE-TO-HAVE**
- Lean certification (lean master, 6 sigma or others)

**THINGS YOU WILL DO**
- Ensure your client group adhere to all laws and established HR policies and procedures
- Support in the creation and training of company policies and training programs
- Champion activities related to recruitment, onboarding, training and retention for hourly and salaried staff
- Lead various programs and actively participate in a related HR project work
- Serve as an employee advocate and partner with the management team to unpack challenges and implement solutions; Joint Labour Management Meetings, Employee Representative Committees
- Working closely with the VP of Operations & the VP of HR to develop all the strategies around the H&S, Succession, and the employee experience
- Develop and tracks measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring process so that processes are transparent and measured
- Work directly with the Plant Managers on the Employee Engagement survey and action planning

**OTHER **
- You will be required to support and travel to three facilities; Annacis Island, Burnaby and Port Coquitlam
