Job Description**:
Job Summary**:
As a Program Manager for Autism Services, you will work with the management team, clinical staff, community partners and private providers to improve systems processes and procedures and to ensure an effective, supportive, and efficient service flow for clients from intake to transition. In particular you will support all aspects of service delivery including fee for service, Ontario Autism Program (OAP) funded services, as well as services delivered as part of the York Simcoe Autism Network (YSAN). You may also support program staff who offer service coordination and system navigation to families receiving a range of services in the OAP.
Furthermore, you will participate in the operational management of services to ensure consistent implementation of provincial guidelines and agency policies, including contract administration, vacancy management, administrative health and safety and accreditation standards. In addition, you will aid in the development of a range of programs to improve systems and processes for client families as well as support quality improvement activities.
**Qualifications**:
As a successful applicant you:
- Will hold either Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree (preferred) in Social Work or Psychology or related field
- Will have a minimum of five years experience at a management level and a minimum of three years direct clinical experience with children and families
- Must be able to demonstrate strong advocacy skills and stress management skills
- Must be able to design, implement and manage systems processes in a complex and dynamic environment. Knowledge and experience of service delivery in a fee for service model as well as operating within a network of service agencies is considered an asset.
- Must possess advanced computer skills in MS Office Suite
- Travel is required for this position, the successful incumbent must have a valid Ontario driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to obtain automobile insurance which includes driving for business purposes with a minimum liability of one million dollars
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (including a Vulnerable Sector Screening) and Pre-Employment Medical
**Kinark Child and Family Services conditions of employment include but are not limited to successful Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, completed Pre-Employment Medical certificate, and proof of full vaccination.** Fully vaccinated is defined as having received all required doses of a World Health Organization Approved COVID-19 Vaccine and 14 days have passed since last dose. Proof of vaccination for each vaccine dose received is required.
